The Christians flee Iraq

Christian Post reports from northern Iraq, where the Christians are persecuted by the radical sunni-muslims of ISIS/ISIL now called “Islamic State”.

ISIS have taken control over all the churches in northern Iraq and that’s why no communion services have been held there – for the first time in 1600 years, since Islam by the sword subjugated this previously mainly Christian region way back in the 7th century.

Now the Iraqi Christians in the ISIS-controlled northern Iraq are compelled to convert to Islam or to die. Tens of thousands of Christans try to flee the region, but far from all are able to do so.

One report says that the Islamic State ISIS killed more than 270 innocent Christians in the city of Mosul, who stood by their Christian faith rather than to convert.
