Soeren Kern of the Gatestone Institute reports on Iceland’s growing muslim population. So far only some 1200, all sunnis, but of two different branches, opposing each other. And now a mosque is going to be built.

“The Reykjavík City Council has approved a building permit for the construction of the first mosque in Iceland” the report says. “The mosque will be built in Sogamýri, an upscale district near downtown Reykjavík on a highly desirable plot of land that was granted to Muslims free of charge, courtesy of Icelandic taxpayers.”

Generous people, these Icelandic taxpayers. The mosque will be financed by foreign capital though, originating from somewhere in the Middle East, possibly Saudi-Arabia. The City Council is dominated by a far left party, which according to the report seems to be a sort of anarchist atheist “semi-joke party”. One would have thought though, that the Icelanders will soon realize that all its semi-jokes aren’t even semi-funny.

For Iceland’s Christians it is a day of no laughter though. It is a well documented fact, that it is the Christians who are the prime target for Muslim persecution around the world. The Christian copts of Egypt can testify to it, so can the Christians in Pakistan, Iran, Irak, Turkey and Syria and of course the few Christian Palestinians who are still living in Gaza and the West Bank.

When the muslim population grows and especially when it reaches a majority, like in parts of France, Great Britain and Sweden problems are becoming more obvious, such as persecution of Jews and soon also of Christians, death sentences according to Islam’s sharia laws on Muslims who have converted to Christianity (as many women do), rapidly increasing social costs, rapes (Sweden has lately become number One in Europe), segregated areas due to lack of integration. One would have wished, that these characteristics of Islam weren’t true, but as they are all documented facts it has to be said.

It is also a fact, that the Grand Mufti of Saudi-Arabia, the highest Islamic law-authority, in 2012 called for the “destruction of all churches in the region”. This has happening now in Egypt, Syria, Irak and other countries. So under such circumstances, why at all allow  the Muslims to build a mosque in Iceland? – Full story here.
